Welcome.  The following information is provided as a resource for you to gleen guidance as you deal with specific issues related to your own life or that of your family.

Another concern that many parents have is the issue of picking clinicians that have a Christian background or faith system.  If being able to use psychology as a tool folded into the Biblical precepts you are familiar with is important, then finding a person that is comfortable working in that manner is a consideration.  Remember, the Christian (whether your background is Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Episcopal, Methodist, Pentecostal, Non-denominational, etc) believes that children are "a blessing from the Lord" and that He is available and wants to assist us as we raise our children.

State funded services usually pull clinicians from the public sector and are usually just out of college.  Many therapists choose to work in these state funded programs and do a great job and it is where Mr. Eller received nearly 10 years of experience.  Therapists that provide services with a Christian emphasis usually are members of organizations such as the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) (link to the right).  You can ask a Christian clinician if they are members of such organizations
